Hey all,

iŽm new to Babel and i want to internationalize my own RCP application. So
my own plugins are quite easy to internationalize, but i dont know how to
internationalize the dialogs provided by eclipse. I downloaded the babel
pack for german language and extract it into my eclipse folder. Then i
started eclipse and everything worked fine. Now i thought if i would
extract the babel fragments into the folder of my own RCP app, it would
also work, but i was mistaken :-(
Any idea what i have to do to internationalize the eclipse parts of my own
RCP application?
Thanks alot
Thomas

I came across this example of Chinese and Japanese translation of Oracle
(former BEA) JRockit Mission Control:
http://edocs.bea.com/jrockit/tools/relnotestools/relnotestoo ls3.html

Unless this has already been based on Babel (BEA was once involved ;-) maybe
the translations might be available from Oracle or even Babel support by
them after all ?;-)

I know, they go more towards NetBeans now than ever before, but e.g. this
Mission Control for a JVM which could soon be part of the STANDARD for Java,
it does not look like they're gonna throw that or WebLogic Guardian (another
Eclipse solution) away any time soon either...

Hello, How can did you this???

I am trying to add the babel plug-in to my eclise application, doing dependencies -> add in my plug-in.xml, but babel doesnt appear.

Can you give me some way to add it to my eclipse RCP application?

Thanks
