As you may or may not know, m2e maintains M2_REPO classpath variable and
I would like to know if anyone is using this feature and why.

As far as I can tell, m2e-managed Maven projects never use this
classpath variable, so I am not sure if we should keep it around.

Hi All,

It looks that AndroMDA tool is using M2_REPO during its operation.
AndroMDA installation instructions [1] mentions this variable - it may be
required that this varialbe needs to be maitain by m2eclipse.

Nick,

M2_REPO Eclipse classpath variable is different from environment
variable with same name mentioned in AndroMDA instructions. Removing
M2_REPO classpath variable won't affect AndroMDA.
