I'm not sure what such an extension is? This is an extension of CWM's
Ecore model? What exactly is such a thing?

It sounds like you want to do an "Extended CWM" -> Ecore conversion.
EMF doesn't provide that. I don't even know what an extension to CWM
would look like, other than that it's a model you've represented as XMI.

Hi

It depends what YIOU mean by an ecore model.

If you have a valid *.xmi file the Sample Reflective Ecore Editor will
load it, so you have nothing to do.

I'm guessing that CWM might be a profile extension of UML, so in so far
as you can find a UML compatibility between Eclipse UML2 and EA, it
might load in Eclipse UML2 or Papyrus. Search the UML newsgroup for
discussions on EA compatibility. NV=B Eclipse UML2 supports UML 2.2,
2.4, 2.5. EA seems to be UML 2.3.

Once you can load into Eclipse UML2 you can use UML2Ecore to convert to
an Ecore metamodel.

With nothing to look at, it's hard to comment further.
