Hi,

I fail to find any recent coherent instruction on how to install and set up a CDO Repository. The ones I've found seems either outdated and/or incomplete.

Regards
Patrik

Hi Eike,

As a newbie to CDO I have trouble finding what to actually install. I also miss some kind on getting started tutorial like this one (http://www.rcp-vision.com/?p=1285&lang=en) which i have problems getting to work, possibly because it is not clear to me what to install.

Looking at https://wiki.eclipse.org/CDO/Hibernate_Store/Download_and_Install#Update_site_locations it is not clear to me what exactly to install from http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/teneo/updates/2.0.0/interim/ and libs: http://www.elver.org/eclipse/2.0.0/update. Should everything be installed?

While I'm at it, the picture in https://wiki.eclipse.org/CDO/Hibernate_Store/Download_and_Install#Installing_the_plugins could be updated to reflect the new CDO Update Site Structure.

Maybe all of this could be simplified by an Oomph setup model setting up the environment and the org.eclipse.emf.cdo.examples.* projects?

Regards
Patrik

You don't have to ;-)

Note that I developed the very first version of Oomph exactly to help CDO users, contributors and committers to set up a
consistent, reproducible and convenient development environment. Have fun...

Cheers
