Scenario:
Most model based tools allow some navigation between model elements and their corresponding representation on diagrams. We only partially find this feature in a Sirius based editor.

Works:
* If I click on a model element in the model explorer, that model element is high-lighted in the current diagram or table (if the object is backing a line).

Desired feature (s):
* Can this be bidirectional? Clicking in the diagram/table could also highlight the element in the model explorer. Currently, Always the representation element is highlighted afais.
* Is there some "find in representations"? This would work similar to the normal Eclipse search: a list of occurrences in representations, clicking on the occurrence navigates to the diagram and highlights the object in the diagram.
* Can it also work for table columns?

Hi.

Thanks for the feedback; could you open a Bugzilla issue [1] for this?
Feature requests are tracked and discusses there, not in the forum.

Thanks in advance.

Did you try CTRL+O (cmd+O on mac) on a diagram ? This opens a quick
search popup which presents you the elements displayed in a tree, then
the selected elements are highlighted/selected in the diagram

The corresponding feature does not exist in the Table editors yet,
please see Pierre-Charles's answer which indicates the bugzilla adress.
