I have used eclipse for years; I often use features to take me to another class or method (F3 to go to declaration, for instance). For a long time I've used alt-LeftArrow to return me back to the place I left with F3, often through many uses of F3 (class 1, class 2, method 1, method 2, then back, back, back, back).
I'm now working in a huge project of JSPs and Java classes; I thought at first that just the JSPs and JavaScript files didn't allow me the use of Alt-LeftArrow I was expecting, but I've now noticed it also fails sometimes in Java classes. It takes me back to somewhere I recognize, but not the place from which I pressed F3 (or whatever).
Is there some setting that affects this, or some other reason it would fail to work?
I'm on an updated Kepler, Windows 7.
