Hi!

I installed Java 8 to use with my Eclipse Helios. After I added the java home folder to the installed JREs, I went into Execution Environments to try and select it, but it doesn't appear there. Am I missing some step here?

The Helios release is over 4 years old; Java 8 didn't exist when Eclipse Helios was released. To get Java 8 support you need to use Eclipse Luna (technically, Eclipse Kepler could be patched to support Java 8, but use Luna instead).
