Dear all,
I am actually using eclipse under ubuntu and I know, that it is possible to
redirect the java sound to pulse audio using the padsp command in the shell,
similar to "padsp java -jar mySoundApp.jar".

Is there possibility to redirect the java sound similar to this approach from the
eclipse project's run configuration settings. Or is there a better/other way to
achieve this.

Used IDE versions: 3.7 and 4.3

Thanks a lot for your help and have a nice weekend,

Stephan

You would have to figure out what padsp is doing--Eclipse will launch the java binary (or at least what's in the expected location, which may very well be a deep linked copy of a JRE with a "java" shell script wrapping the real java executable with padsp).
