Hi everyone,

I am using RSE to work remotely in a python project. I can connect successfully using ssh, but I want to add the flag -y to the ssh connection but I cannot find a place to add options or flags to the connection. I looked in the connection properties but I did not find a place to add conneciotn options or flags.

Any help is appreciated

RSE does not call the SSH executable, it leverages the internal JSch Java Library instead. So there's no place where your option would be interpreted.

We received an initial contribution for X11 port forwarding over RSE a while ago, but the submitter never finished his code. Perhaps you would be interested in picking up the work and contributing ? See
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=330385#c1
and the referenced original bug.

Martin,

I would like to help and fix the problem, but I do not have the necessary skills.

Omar.
