Hi,

in the Sirius features page (https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/features.html) it's indicated that "The XMI file containing a model can be splitted into several files to facilitate collaborative work with source control systems."

I try to use 2 model files in the same modeling project : i create a diagram with Sirius on one model : if I try to use an element of my second model (modification of the link in the properties view), when I validate the choice of element : the element is added to the first model and is deleted of the second (where it was first defined).
I simply would add a link pointing on the second model (not copy the element)

If somebody have examples with :
- multiple XMI files for the same model
- creation of diagram that integrate some elements of model defined in differents XMI files (of the same modeling project or present in dependencies).

Thanks

Could you check the definition of the link you modified ? ìts looks like
you have modified some containment feature and the move from one model
seems to be the expected behavior in this case.

I dont know if my problem was du to version 1.0.1, but since i migrated to version 2 of sirius the problem has disappeared : i can use two model in my projet and two representation model files.
I can use simple links to reference some objects in different models.

Thanks
