'Computing Source' has encountered a problem [message #259590] Mon, 30 June 2008 12:42 Go to next message

Hi all

I am using Eclipse Ganymede with CDT.

I have one project where the complete project is indexed correctly.
Everything is recognized correctly (for autocomplete and syntax
highlighting).
However, when i hover the mouse over items that are in files which need to
be refreshed
( the ones when you open them that say: "Resource is out of sync with the
file system '/filepathandname'. -press F5 or select File > Refresh to
refresh the file )
, i get a
"'Computing Source' has encountered a problem. An internal error occurred
during: 'Computing Source'".

If i open up those files, press F5, then in the original file, the
hovering will work.

Is anybody else having this problem? Should i create a bug report for
this?

And is there anywhere a HowTo how to create a bug report ? :)

I'd suggest searching Bugzilla and/or posting to eclipse.tools.cdt, where
you'll find more people who are specifically versed in that component.
Probably fastest to search Bugzilla first. You can do that at
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/query.cgi .

If you go to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/ and click the "help with bug
reporting" link you should find what you need.
