tutorial shows how to generate in Eclipse. But i want to generate from a
stand-alone application. It would be very helpful if there is any guide for
using these EMF libraries in stand-alone mode to generate java classes.

The EMF generator doesn't run standalone but it can be made to run headless from
the command line. Unfortunately, we haven't written the scaffolding to support
XSD to Ecore conversion from the command line. External contributions would be
most welcome. ;-)

Muruga,
