Hi,

Is that possible to have an IncQuery based on Xtext 2.7.x ?? When do you
think you will move to Xtext 2.7 ??

Best regards,
Ali

Hi Ali,

as of now, we have no working build of EMF-IncQuery with Xtext 2.7. We are working on fixing the issue, but are a bit preoccupied with other problems. I cannot give a date for Xtext 2.7 compatibility.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Zoltán

Hi Zoltan,

As I can see on the following wiki page,
https://wiki.eclipse.org/EMFIncQuery/UserDocumentation/GettingStarted,
EMF-IncQuery 0.8 Runtime can be used with Xtext 2.7

When I use the EMF-IncQuery update site, i.e.
http://download.eclipse.org/incquery/updates/release, I can't find any
feature which only include the runtime.

Can you provide such kind of feature ??

Hi,

the corresponding feature is available on the update site, it is just hidden by default. If you want install the EMF-IncQuery runtime feature, enter the update site, and uncheck the 'Group items by category' box below the list, and then select EMF-IncQuery Runtime to install.

By default we are hiding this option, as if you are checking both the runtime and tooling plug-ins to install, they have to be selected together to get an update, which is quite hard to figure out.

Sorry for the confusion,
Zoltán

Hi Zoltan,

I use now org.eclipse.incquery.runtime.feature.feature.group.

I have now one runtime target and one development target until we get
IncQuery SDK on xtext 2.7

Thank you,
Ali

Hi,

just to report back: current EMF-Incquery integration builds are working with Xtext 2.7, and we have a release 0.9.0 planned on the 1st February that will include this fix.

Cheers,
Zoltán
