I have been using OCL in my application and i have done extension in OCL standard library (OCL-2.5.oclstdlib) to introduce some new operations. OCL standard library extesion works fine.

I would like to use QVTo in my application to translate models. I would like to extend the Standard library for QVTo as well to introduce some operations. Do i need to adopt the similar methodology? Is there any help or tutorial available?

Cheers,

Hi

Migration of Eclipse QVTo to exploit the Pivot-based OCL rather than
Ecore-based OCL is planned/underway. The underlying autogeneration of
OCL tooling from OCL 2.5 specification candidate models should be in
place for Mars, allowing OCL-extending projects to exploit it for
Mars+1. Until then extending the QVTo library must use painful hard
coded approaches.

Sorry.

Do you know when Mars+1 will be avaiable earliest? Actually we need to plan different activities so it will be great to have some clue about approxinmate date.

thanks again!

Cheers,

Hi

Eclipse releases have been the fourth Wednesday in June for many years,
so very late June 2016 is likely.

Milestone builds will be available well before that, but there are too
many challenges to make confident predictions at this point.
