Trying to install the google plugin for juno 4.4 Worked in windows 7 but 8.1 says it cannot find the link which I am not allowed to post here

Make sure your networking configuration and firewall allows Eclipse (and Java itself) to reach the update site. Instructions linked from https://developers.google.com/eclipse/docs/getting_started#installing .

I turned off all firewalls and virus protection, but thanks. I don't know if the problem is 8.1 or I just need to re-install Eclipse.

That did not work either and the download archive site only has 4.3 not 4.4. Is there any technical support on this site?

Can you load the update site URL in your browsers? What is the URL? (post it without the http portion to get it past the forums spam filter).
