Hi all,

I have accidentally found out that Luna Papyrus (and Kepler) was shipped
with a DSL for palette configurations. Has this feature of Papyrus changed?
In the past, the palettes have been stored in an XML Memento. Has this or
will this change?

Best regards,
Marc-Florian

Hi Marc-Florian,

The new Ecore-based Palette model is not fully integrated yet (Especially, it doesn't have a customization UI). The runtime is supported for both XML- and Ecore-based models. The new Ecore-based model will probably be promoted as the recommended way to model Palettes in Papyrus 1.1/Mars.

Since the two models can be supported in the same runtime, the XML format will (probably) be deprecated but should not be removed.

The official and accurate plan/schedule is not known yet

Regards,
Camille
