Unable to open Query Builder connection in birt viewer 4_2_2 [message #1436180]

We developed a report in Birt version 4_2_2 using "JDBC Database Connection for Query Builder".
When we test the report locally in het report designer it works fine and we get data in the report.
But when we execute the report in the Birt Viewer on the WAS server we get an error.
When we use "JDBC Data Source" it works fine, but that is not the solution we want because we like to use the functionality of making the SQL command with the Query Builder.
We tried using connection profiles and also tried version 4_0_0 but that does not do the trick.
We acces data from an Iseries machine with driver JT400.jar

If anyone has this working please inform us what steps we need to take to get this to work!!
