Hi,

I remember that you have on your roadmap support for multiple git-repo in snipmatch.

I have tried the latest version from the marketplace (2.1.9-v20140917-1240 or something like that). By looking at the UI (preference page) I have the feeling that only one repo is enabled.

index.php/fa/19242/0/

Did I miss something?
Is this feature planned for a next version?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Hi Jeremie,

yes, this feature is still on our roadmap. It shouldn't be too long anymore.
The update will allow you to configure multiple Git repositories.

Here's a sneak peek:

Nice!

I think that when this is out, we could consider:
1/ Create a repo containing only scout snippets at eclipse.org (based on the current fork we use)
2/ Include Snipmatch in the Eclipse Scout EEP

If we do so, will it be possible to pre-configure in our EPP the Snipmatch plugin in order to use our snipmatch repo in addition to the default?

There will be a third option:
This update will also make Snipmatch classpath aware. This means that you can give snippets dependencies that need to be on the current classpath. If a snippet has a dependency that is not on the classpath, it can no longer be found by the Snipmatch completion. It is still available in the snippets view, though.

So you could use the common recommenders repo for Scout specific snippets as well.

Nice to hear this.

We can discuss the options when this version is released.

Keep me informed.
