Open Declaration - F3 opens Excel [message #253877]

*.Java Java Editor (default) (locked by 'JavaSource File' content type)
and Text Editor (locked by 'JavaSource File' content type)

In Windows => Preferences => content Type

Java Source File *.java (locked)

At this point I'm not sure what to try next.

Can anyone help?

I suspect that the F3 from the Edit Script Source is causing this. No
idea where this comes from (it's not part of the Eclipse SDK).

Thanks for the response.

I've tried modifying this entry but it doesn't seem to alter anything.

I have the Ruby and Tcl plugins and I think it might have something to do
with them.

I solved this and it has nothing to do with Eclipse. I have a Logitech
keyboard which has a function key mode button (F Mode) which when pressed
switches the Function Keys to "Enhanced" mode and they do not act as
normal function keys. There is nothing to indicate when this button has
been pressed.
