Hi.

I have downloaded the new grid control and it works very well, so far.
However I see that it was compiled using the java 5.0 features and it
isn't compatible with an 1.4 runtime. Is this going to be a requirement
for using the Nebula controls ?

Bye

Hi Marco,

No. The Grid widget is being refactored and all 5.0 features will be
removed. I believe the API is clear of lists and generics already.
Generally Nebula widgets should attempt to be CLDC compliant like SWT
(iow, a subset of 1.3 features).

That's great! Do you have an estimated timeframe for the new build ?
This control is the solution to so many requirements that I can't wait
using it.

No I don't sorry. You can always submit patches with the updated code.

I've filed a bug for this:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=142840
