Hi, I want to reuse uml2.odesign of UMLDesigner of Obeo. I 've created a new file odesign and copied the content of uml2.odesign to it. No error found but it doesn't run. What way to reuse uml2.odesign?

Hi Dat,

Instead of copying content of uml2.odesign, Sirius offers some mecanisms
to reuse content of other Viewpoint contained in a odesign.
See for example
https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/doc/specifier/diagrams/Diagrams.html#extensibility
to know how to extend an existing diagram description.
In addition not that your odesign must be registered in Sirius to be
usable. For an example, when you create a new "Viewpoint Specification
Project" and you will see in the Activator.java how the .odesign is
registered.

If you want copy uml2.odesign, you must also copy its dependencies, for
example the java services, etc.
In addition, before running your Viewpoint Specification Plugin Project,
you can launch the validation to check that the odesign has no errors.
Note that copying uml2.odesign is not a reuse.
