Alt-PageUp and Alt-PageDown causing test to hang [message #1407458]

One of the things we test in our AUT is a multi-page editor, in which we can use Alt-PageUp and Alt-PageDown to cycle through the pages (which is handy because it allows us to reach pages whose tabs may be hidden for lack of space). However, when we run a test that executes one of these key combinations, sometimes it works without a problem, but sometimes it causes the test to just stop at that point, until it times out. Unfortunately, since these tests generally have to execute the key combination several times, they are almost guaranteed to hang up on one of those times.

The point at which the test fails is not consistent, even when re-running the exact same test. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this? Could it be related to using the Compatibility Layer?

I meant to add, nothing like this happens when I use that key combination locally, or even when I run a local test case in Jubula that executes that combination. Somehow, it only seems to happen with headless Jubula on the test server.
