Hello peoples,

i have an excel file as data source which determines the weeknumber given a date (the first day of the current month).
in your user manual (page 111) you say, if the data in the excel file changes from day to day, the file must be opened before starting the test.
but if i open this excel file and then start the test, the system still uses an old state of the excel sheet.
what do you exactly mean by 'opening the excel file' before starting the test?

does jubula actually combine with open office in this case?

Hi Jurjen,

From what I remember, you must open then close the file. But it's been a very long time since I worked with it.
You might want to consider implementing a test data function that calculates the week number for you instead. More information is in the extension manual.

only open and then close the file does unfortunately not work
