Is it all possible to run eclipse without running Java? I'm assuming not, but I'm having constant issues with Java locking up my computer. It only happens when Eclipse is running. I'll have Eclipse lock-up and then watch javaw.exe skyrocket 2 fold in it's memory usage (via Task Manager), until Eclipse un-locks and then memory usage plummets.

Andrew,

No, Eclipse is implemented in Java. Perhaps try a more well behaved
JVM for it, which you can specify in the ini:
