E4 Tools Live Editor Dependencies [message #1404730]

Hello

I would like to use the e4 tools live editor to debug my pure e4 application. I remember doing that in juno by adding the plugins
- org.eclipse.e4.tools.emf.liveeditor
- org.eclipse.e4.tools.emf.ui
- org.eclipse.e4.tools.emf.ui.script.js
- org.eclipse.e4.tools.services

It seams as though this is not possible anymore with luna, because org.eclipse.e4.tools.emf.ui now has a dependency to org.eclipse.pde.core, pulling in the compatibility layer, which I don't realy want to do ...

Is there another tool I can use to inspect my application model (doesn't have to provide editing)?

If this is a HARD dependency (==none optional) then this is a MAJOR bug
and needs to be fixed!
