Now that most of projects moved towards GIT or SVN, should the CVS plug-in be removed from the bundles of Eclipse?

Why should it still be kept in the bundles?

Please keep the CVS plugin bundled with standard Eclipse, we use it daily on our project. In 4.4, they take up about 3.5MB which is small relative to the rest of the IDE.

There is always someone to use a feature or the other. But when doing
download packages, I believe the goal is more to have a package that
keeps slim and contains things that are helpful to the majority of users.
CVS is clearly End-Of-Life and have very low usage lately, it would make
sense to remove it from default packages, but to keep it on the main
Eclipse repo so the few people who still need it could just install it.
