This is probably terribly redundant but I can't seem to find a straight answer. I'm learning eclipse rcp/e4 development as I go on this project (always fun) and a main portion of functionality was built in e4 before seeing that I would need GEF for my editor. The straightforward answers I've seen have just said "duh just use the compatability layer" however I'm not sure... how.

I have a plugin project for my GEF editor similar to the vainolo example and a bunch of parts defined in my original e4 project. Can someone provide me with a more detailed example of how I can get these to play nice? What I have been able to find is usually a paragraph or two that assume a more seasoned RCP dev is at the wheel which I am not, sadly.

Thanks in advance.

P. S. I'm Using Luna
