Creating some part of models textually [message #1403461]

I want to edit some part of the model using a textual language.
Can anyone give me hint how i can proceed if my textual language is based on xtext.
My usecase is if select a node in diagram layer, i should edit that model from text pane.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,

first of all, a quick and easy way to meet your need would be to create
a DoubleClickTool that opens an Xtext editor on the semantic element.

If you really want to open an Xtext editor directly inside the diagram,
you may have a look at this Github project
https://github.com/ObeoNetwork/Xtext-Sirius-integration
