I am having an issue trying to write JDBC code inside the Eclipse compiler.
I am getting a ClassNotFoundException because i havent managed to import the required library(.jar) from ConnectorJ. I 've searched the Web and everyone would right click on the Project, select Build Path e.t.c. Well here is my issue. When I right click, there is NO Build Path Option!! and i am havent found it at the program's toolbar.

Has anybody encountered such an issue before??

Are you using a Java Project in the workspace? You refer to the compiler specifically yet this is a runtime exception--how exactly is this all set up?

Well i was writing my code and i realised i hadnt imported the library. Then i tried a new project but again the Build Path selection did not appear after pressing right-click on project.Neither was i able to find it again on the program's toolbar. I could send a pic of what is depicted when i press right click but every time i try this, the snapshot programs "deselect"(i should say) my right click and its as if i never pressed it.So i cannot upload anything.Above the Resource and the Refactor Selection that appear after right-clicking, i get Quick-Fix instead of Build path

You need to create a new Java Project. Eclipse is not solely a Java IDE.

Do you see a Java Build Path page when you open the project's Properties dialog, either by right-clicking on it and selecting Properties, or selecting the project and opening the dialog from the Project menu in the menu bar?
