I have two pieces of advice, but first, let me commiserate with you. I
feel bad.
Advice #1: Keep looking. Keep thinking about what you did step by step.
Maybe something will occur to you. Maybe you haven't actually lost
it--only misplaced it.
Advice #2: Well, 'nuf said, right? You know what you should have been
doing to avoid this. Along these lines, may I introduce you to
http://www.bitbucket.org ? It's free and its foolproof. It will also
force you to learn Git which would be a very valuable thing no matter what.
