Hi, I installed Luna and WTP. The CSS proposals are working with Ctrl+Space but the CSS3 things like background-size are not available. The vendor prefixes are missing as well. How do I activate CSS3 support? Thanks.

The default profile in Luna is still CSS2. Bring up the Properties dialog for your web project and you can change the default CSS profile for that project on the Web Content Settings page. If the CSS file is not in a web project, or if you don't want to use the project default, you can also set it using the file's Properties dialog (also Web Content Settings page).

Thanks for the quick reply. Most of the files I work on are not in a project so it is quite tedious to set that property for each single file I am working on for just a few minutes. I would prefer to set CSS3 globaly. Im sure there must be a way. Who is working with CSS2 nowadays anyway?

BTW I dont have "Web Content Settings" in the properties dialog. Do I need a plugin or something?

cheers

Not an extra plug-in, no, but it will only appear for projects that have the Static or Dynamic web project facet installed onto them. It should appear for a CSS file regardless.

Eclipse is project-based; working on individual files isn't it's focus. Thus it's efficiencies are geared towards working in projects.

I updated to 2020-03 but still the autocomplete for css "transition" for example still does not work. At least "background-size" is available. I also have WWD installed. How do I get the full css autocomplete working?

You can try opening the file with the Generic Editor, but I'm not sure how accurate that content assist is personally.
