This is my problem. I want to create (programmatically) a note attached to
a link between two nodes.
I saw that this question is already in the Newsgroup, but the answer isn't
so clear for me.

In the old post, I saw that a solution can be override the method

protected Command getCreateCommand(CreateViewRequest request) {}

but I can't understand which class has this method, and where it's called.

That's I want to do is a little animation. I have in the canvas severl
nodes, linked between them. The animation highlight (one by one) the link
of the nodes, and i want that a note appear linked to the link with the
description of what it means.

it would be good even not using the "createNote", but adding at the
mapping a rectangle linked to a link... I'm trying to add a lilnk
mapping...a figure ext... but doesn't work

mm... so nobody can help me to create a note..?

I could try to substitute the label of a link with a labeled rectangle,
like a note but without the link (better than nothing..)

Is there a property for the rectangle to avoid obstacle? I saw that links
have it in the canvas. Can I use it also for other figures?
