is it possible to create Childs of a Link?
What could be the best way to create and access these childs?
Perhaps with an extra tab (Is there a tutorial or help how to do this?) ?

Hello Henning,

Technically yes - you can create child elements of the EObject represented
as a link on diagram.
GMF is not able to visualize such an elements on a diagram anyhow (except
link label), so you have to handle link child creation/visualization manually.
Possible way - creating separate properties page with corresponding controls
on it.
