I have an issue with fillcolor on Linux

When I drag a gmf shape beyond certain bounds, the fillcolor on the shape disappears.
This occurs only on RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.8 version and not on version 6.1 and beyond. I wanted to know if draw2d depends on Linux specific libraries, if yes, what are the libraries.
I posted this in GEF forum and I got this reply "Draw2d does not have own platform-dependent native code. However, it depends on SWT (it uses a Canvas to draw figures), which is platform specific. As such, you should better ask this question in the SWT forum. "
and so Iam posting the question here. Can you please let me know if swt draw depends on Linux specific libraries and if yes, what are the libraries.
