Hello Colleagues,

Issue 1:

I am using WTP wsdl creation wizard to create a new wsdl file. Then i
delete the operation from the port type but then the corresponding output
from the binding operation output is not deleted.
------------------------------------------------------------ -------
NewWSDLFile.wsdl (Initial State)
------------------------------------------------------------ -------
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
<wsdl:definitions xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/"
xmlns:tns="http://www.example.org/NewWSDLFile/"
xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" name="NewWSDLFile"
targetNamespace="http://www.example.org/NewWSDLFile/">

<xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://www.example.org/NewWSDLFile/">

</xsd:sequence>
</xsd:complexType>
</xsd:element>

</wsdl:message>
<wsdl:portType name="NewWSDLFile">

<wsdl:input message="tns:NewOperationRequest"/>
<wsdl:output message="tns:NewOperationResponse"/>
</wsdl:operation>
</wsdl:portType>
<wsdl:binding name="NewWSDLFileSOAP" type="tns:NewWSDLFile">

NewWsdlFile.wsdl (After deleting operation output from design view)

</wsdl:operation>
</wsdl:portType>
<wsdl:binding name="NewWSDLFileSOAP" type="tns:NewWSDLFile">
<soap:binding style="document"
transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http"/>

<soap:body use="literal"/>
</wsdl:output>
</wsdl:operation>
</wsdl:binding>
<wsdl:service name="NewWSDLFile">
<wsdl:port binding="tns:NewWSDLFileSOAP" name="NewWSDLFileSOAP">
<soap:address location="http://www.example.org/"/>
</wsdl:port>
</wsdl:service>
</wsdl:definitions>
------------------------------------------------------------ -------
So above operation from binding section should have been deleted, which
does not happens.

Issue 2:

When i validate the above wsdl(updated after operation output deletion)
using WTP editor (right click "validate") then the validation still says
file is valid which is not the case because there is No corresponding
Message for direction OUT in NewWSDLFile.wsdl.

Hi Bhuvan,

Thanks for reporting these issues. Your best chance of having issues
addressed in WTP is to file bugzilla reports. Can you file bugzilla
reports for these issues?

Bhuvan,
I took the first WSDL code fragment that you pasted and tried deleting the
operation from the port type in the design view. The resulting document is
the following:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
<wsdl:definitions xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/"
xmlns:tns="http://www.example.org/NewWSDLFile/"
xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" name="NewWSDLFile"
targetNamespace="http://www.example.org/NewWSDLFile/">
<wsdl:types>
<xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://www.example.org/NewWSDLFile/">
<xsd:element name="NewOperation">
<xsd:complexType>
<xsd:sequence>
<xsd:element name="in" type="xsd:string"/>
</xsd:sequence>
</xsd:complexType>
</xsd:element>
<xsd:element name="NewOperationResponse">
<xsd:complexType>
<xsd:sequence>
<xsd:element name="out" type="xsd:string"/>
</xsd:sequence>
</xsd:complexType>
</xsd:element>
</xsd:schema>
</wsdl:types>
<wsdl:message name="NewOperationRequest">
<wsdl:part element="tns:NewOperation" name="parameters"/>
</wsdl:message>
<wsdl:message name="NewOperationResponse">
<wsdl:part element="tns:NewOperationResponse" name="parameters"/>
</wsdl:message>
<wsdl:portType name="NewWSDLFile">

</wsdl:portType>
<wsdl:binding name="NewWSDLFileSOAP" type="tns:NewWSDLFile">
<soap:binding style="document"
transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http"/>
<wsdl:operation name="NewOperation">
<soap:operation
soapAction="http://www.example.org/NewWSDLFile/NewOperation"/>
<wsdl:input>
<soap:body use="literal"/>
</wsdl:input>
<wsdl:output>
<soap:body use="literal"/>
</wsdl:output>
</wsdl:operation>
</wsdl:binding>
<wsdl:service name="NewWSDLFile">
<wsdl:port binding="tns:NewWSDLFileSOAP" name="NewWSDLFileSOAP">
<soap:address location="http://www.example.org/"/>
</wsdl:port>
</wsdl:service>
</wsdl:definitions>

Validating the file after this will produce the following error:

The operation specified for the 'NewWSDLFileSOAP' binding is not defined
for port type 'NewWSDLFile'. All operations specified in this binding must
be defined in port type 'NewWSDLFile'.

What version of WTP are you using?
