Resetting Eclipse? [message #1341749]

Hello! I am new to Eclipse and I am trying to teach myself Java. I, being myself, immediately closed part of the workbench display and cannot figure out how to open it again. Then I made a serious series of errors that I cannot undo. I need to start all over. I deleted Eclipse, reloaded it, and opened it again, and it gave me the same horribly altered workbench and I cannot figure out how to get back to my original screen. Can you help please? I'm so frustrated!

From the Window menu select Reset Perspective. This should return the perspective to the default.

If that doesn't work, you can delete your workspace (not Eclipse itself) on disk. Be aware that doing so will delete any code that you might have put in the workspace.
