Is it possible to use either a CursoredStream or ScrollableCursor with a native query that employs a SqlResultSetMapping?

When setting either query hint, the following exception (or similar) is thrown:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Query null, query hint eclipselink.cursor.scrollable is not valid for this type of query.
