I've posted some thoughts about another proposal called SOA Runtime
Framework under news://news.eclipse.org/eclipse.technology.soa

Perhaps there could be established a link to this proposal, because in
my opinion the SOA people want to provide a technical infrastructure
which could be used by OSEE.

Andreas,

Thanks for suggesting the possibility of adapting SOA to OSEE. The OSEE
project strives to utilize and integrate with other Eclipse projects where
it makes sense. OSEE currently uses a number of Jini-based services for
remote-events, test server discovery, OSEE client synchronization, among
other thing, so clearly we have need for service-oriented capabilities.
We look forward to learning about what capabilities the SOA project plans
to offer that we could leverage in OSEE.
