I have developed an Axis2 webservice that is deployed in a web application
and also generated the client stub code. I now want to call this service
from an eclipse RCP appication, but I can't find the Axis2 client code in
any of the plugins in WTP or anywhere on the web for that matter.

You can use the Axis2 WTP Web Services tools to call your web service.
Look at the following tutorial:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Creating_a_bottom-up_Axis2_Web_servi ce

Note that the Axis2 runtime jars are not shipped in WTP. You will have to
download the binaries from http://ws.apache.org/axis2/, and then set the
Eclipse preferences to point to it before using the Axis2 WTP Web Services
tools.
