I am unable to delete anything from my diagrams because the delete button is disabled. Ctrl-X doesn't remove the original either. I see an ancient bug report for the same problem, but it's marked as resolved so presumably the problem I have is not that one.

I'm using:

Eclipse: Kepler Service Release 2 Build id: 20140224-0627
Papyrus UML (Incubation) 0.10.2.v201402281227
Windows 8.1

So how do I delete an item?

Hi Tim,

If the element is only graphical (Or if, for some reason, the semantic element has been removed but the graphical representation remains), then only the "hide" action will be enabled (Which actually means "delete from diagram")

If none of these actions is enabled, then this is a bug. But I'm not aware of such a bug in Kepler SR2.

What are you trying to delete?
