We use ganymede for development of JEE projects. However, I haven't seen
how to generate a build.xml for the ear file itself. Can Ganymede do this?
If not, is there a simple, canonical example build.xml for this purpos

I am afraid there is no facility to export an Ant script for building
various Java EE project types.

That is unfortunate, since NetBeans does have the capability (although the
files it generates are horribly complex).

Here's a tutorial based on JBoss but I think should still apply:
