Hi all,

I need to test the basic functions (like menu, edit...etc) in an IDE,
which is based on eclipse on linux platform.

I'm a newbie to this area. Can someone guide me in this regarding tools
available to test the eclipse features on linux platform?

Regards and thanks in advance,
Ravi.

Hi Ravi,

The Test and Performance Tools Platform (TPTP) is good.
There is a lot of "overhead" getting started, but it is worth it.

You can download TPTP from the Eclipse projects web page.
(For convenience, you might download the "all in one" package).

Also, you should download the Automated GUI recorder. This is not
include in the all in one package.
