Hello

Is it possible to create such an editor that would allow selection of
decoration icons and even shapes from a defined set? I would like to allow
users of my application to create objects of the same kind but with
different diagram figures, etc.

So, is it possible? If yes, is it trivial or extremally complicated and
not worthy of implementing?

Hello Marcin,

I think it is possible, but it is not an easy job - this use case is not
covered by GMF generator now, so you have to code it manually.

Hi Marcin,

We've needed to implement something similar recently: to allow users
select a custom image for each node in the diagram. I've scribbled some
instructions on how this can be done in
http://epsilonlabs.wiki.sourceforge.net/Nodes+with+user+defi ned+images+at+runtime
.. It may not be exactly what you need but can hopefully give you some
starting points.
