I'm trying to profile an application (Execution Time only) and I get a
VM crash. The operating system is Windows 2000 Professional, JRE 1.4.2,
Eclipse 3.1RC3, emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-I200506230200,
tptp.runtime-TPTP-4.0.0-200506280100
tptpdc.win_ia32-TPTP-4.0.0-200506280100

The TPTP 3.3 version works fine, I tried to test the new functionality
in 4.0.

Thanks, Mike

Are you sure that you don't have the dll file of the 3.3 agent controller in
your system path?
Can you temporarily rename the piAgent.dll to piAgent.dll.old in the bin
directory of your agent controller 3.3 driver and then try and start the
agent controller of 4.0.

See if the problem is still reproducible. I suspect that an old dll file is
getting picked up.
I will forward your message to the developer that owns the JVMPI component
to see if he has anything to add.

I did a search for piAgent.dll in all my hard drives, it didn't find
anything except the one from version 4.0 directory. Actually I have only
version 4.0 agent installed and it worked with TPTP 3.3 without any
problems. May be I installed something wrong? I just extracted EMF and
TPTP into my Eclipse directory, extracted the agent controller into a
different directory, ran the SetConfig.bat and ran raserver. Raserver
-version says it's 4.0.0.0.

Just checked TPTP 3.3 with EMF 2.1, Eclipse 3.1, RAServer 4.0 - worked fine.
