Hi,
I came across the project you are planning.
Has it yet started?

I'm intressted in the project, since we have been developing the same kind
of project. It allows user to create C / C++ programs, cross-compile to ARM
binaries, emulate and debug in x86 environment. We have generated our plugin
on top of CDT using the CDT:s extension points.

For more information about our project see http://www.cs.tut.fi/~laika
The main idea of project has been shown in EclipseCon
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2006/Sub.do?id=216

It would be nice to hear what you think of our approach to subject and to
know how Eclipse developers are going to solve the issues we have faced
and perhaps to exchange some information and co-operate?

Hi Pekka,

thanks for your interest in the TmL project!

We are just about to get started and are currently in the process to update
the project proposal and scope. We will post an updated version within the
next few days. Your feedback would be very welcome. For an early version,
please see the Wiki page:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/DSDP/TML/TmLInitialProposa l

We are currently having a look at the information you sent to us. It does
seem that we have common interests and your contribution would be welcome.

Looking at Scratchbox, it seems to run on Linux only. Do you know if there
is any plans to port it to Windows? For TmL we are trying to also support
Windows as a host platform for developers.

About our approach to the issues you faced: could you please clarify which
issues exactly are you referring to here? Do you mean CDT documentation, or
emulation issues?

Regards,
