Axis Service Archiver - Overloaded Methods? [message #212155] Tue, 08 April 2008 19:33 Go to next message

I have a web service class with an overloaded method. When I create the
aar file, the Apache Axis Service Archiver plugin shows both methods with
the correct number of arguments and return type.

When the service is uploaded (via axis admin web page), only the first
occurrence of the method is exported in the wsdl file.

Are overloaded methods supported in web services, or could there be a bug
somewhere?

I can work around the problem by only implementing one version of the
overloaded method, but it would be good to know for future reference.

Aloha,
Doug
