Hello All,
I'm trying to add input/output expansion nodes to an expansion region (similar to this: http://tinyurl.com/lg6r2so ) in Papyrus but the no matter what I do, there's always an X when I try to place it on the edge on expasion region.
What am I doig wrong?

Thanks?

I received the following from Vincent Hemery via email. Vincent wrote the Papyrus Activity Diagram Tutorial.

Hello,

Papyrus has quite evolved since I left the project (after writing this tutorial), and I have indeed noticed a few regressions on the activity diagram.

Though expansion nodes used to be created when clicking anywhere on the expansion region (as I implemented them), this seems to no longer be the case.
Yet, you should still be able to create one if you place your mouse on the very thin edge itself of the Expansion region (which shall highlight at this moment).
This area is probably 1 or 2 pixels wide wich is way too little...

You have probably also encountered difficulties if you have tried drawing an object flow from an Opaque Action's output pin.
The best workaround I have found for this is drawing directly the object flow from the action, which creates the pin by side effect.

I think both should be submitted as bugs on MDT-Papyrus. But haven't checked whether these have already been reported or fixed since I had little time for it and found the workarounds quite easily...

Since, I am no longer watching the forums, can you please post this reply as an answer to your subject to help other users with the same difficulites ?
