How to use allocation table (old and new) ? [message #1270930]

Hello everyone...

I'd like to test out the allocation table (old and new) in Sysml but I can't manage to drop anything in it.

Is there a tutorial somewhere or can someone provide a brief explanation ?

Hi David,

The Allocation table is synchronized with the Model. This means that it isn't populated by D&D. Instead, you can create new elements with Right Click > Create SysML Element > Create a new Allocate

That's for the New table framework, but it should be quite similar with the "Old" table framework. The "Old" will not be supported anymore (Starting with Luna / Papyrus 1.0.0). However, a migration tool is available for "Old" tables.

Ok thank you Camille. Just to clarify a bit from what you just said, as it was not obvious for me in the first place:
Create a "new allocation table". Open it in the editor, right click on the opened table editor then Create SysML Element > Create a new Allocate as Camille just said.

Do you know if there is any plans to do an allocation table that looks like the one in magic draw ?
