e4 Luna and 3.x RCP Migrations [message #1270068]

Hi,

For some time NetXStudio which has a 3.x RCP component is build against
Kepler. The e4 3.x compat mode kicks in and besides a few small issues
it works nicely. I do however get depreciation warnings i.e ActionSets
etc...

Now it's been said that Luna will address or make some early steps
towards mixing e4 3.x compat. mode and have pure e4 contributions.

I have looking for Luna release notes and tried to find info on this
topic, with surprisingly little luck. Perhaps it will be addressed a
Econ NA also. Anyway, if there is already some information or sample
code on what can be expected in Luna, this would really be great.

We are looking for the same kind of information, even if for us the migration has not been done yet.

There is a good migration guide somewhere?

Tony you need training in E4 first. Then the migration will be obvious.
