Hello,
can you tell me how to set the canvas size to be larger than what's
required by the currently contained elements?
The problem is that my sort of diagram -- BPMN -- has some very large
nodes in it (Pools), and it is often necessary to move these nodes
somewhere else, e.g. when making room for another Pool. However, it is
kind of annoying that one has to move them 'blindly' outside of the
actual canvas size (which often comes along with some irritating
scrolling behaviour). And what's even more problematique is inserting a
new pool, when the canvas is already larger than the screen. In this
case the lower bound of the canvas is marked by the lowest pool, so the
new Pool has to be inserted some way beneath the lowest pool, i.e. way
outside of the canvas.
So what I'd like to have is a canvas which is always, say, 500 px bigger
than what would be necessary be the elements within. Do you have an idea
how this can be achieved?
Tobias
